Rat-A-Tat is a brand new tattoo salon. The main differentiation of the company is tattoos’ rapid and temporary features as well as lower than the usual age segment of potential clients. Additionally, the visuals of tattoos that Rat-A-Tat suggests to its clients are very modern and exclusive.
This new tattoo salon approached us with the request to create its full branding. The goal was to establish a brand with distinguished and unique features to convey the whole vision and idea of the temporary tattoo salon.
In the market full of competition, we had the challenge to position our client as a distinguished player by showing that it serves the low-age segment as well. The name and visual identity had to strongly help the salon to have a targeted position in the market.
While creating brand identity and visuals, the team got inspired by the artsy, illustrative tattoo-style and also from the word “Rat”. Being the main character as well as a tattoo artist rat played a key role in designing the whole visual branding concept. In addition, various characters were also designed to liven up the entire visual identity.
